Deirdre and Fiona loved their home and didn’t want the upheaval of moving, but they needed more usable space for family life.
Their attic gave them the perfect opportunity to create extra space that could be used as a guest room, home office or playroom, depending on what they needed at the time.
We carried out a standard attic conversion, taking care of the full process from the structural steelwork through to the stairs, windows and insulation. The aim was to create a bright, warm and practical space that felt like a natural part of the home. As with all our attic projects, we focused on getting the structure right, making the room comfortable, and keeping the disruption to the household as low as possible. The full project was turned around in just 12 days.
The finished attic has given Deirdre and Fiona the flexible extra space they were looking for, without the stress of moving house.
They were delighted with how it turned out, so much so that we are already carrying out another project for them.
