When Edward and Natalie got in touch with us, they were looking for a way to make their home work better for a busy family with four kids.
They needed more space, better storage and a layout that could handle everyday family life without everything feeling cramped. Rather than moving, they wanted to improve the home they already had and create more practical space both inside and outside.
We carried out a larger home improvement project that included a downstairs extension, an attic conversion and even reconfigured their back garden. The kitchen extension added around 20 sqm of extra space and was built with full insulation, a new sub floor and a custom-designed fitted kitchen. We also created an understairs toilet, extra storage and a utility room, helping to make the house much more practical for a growing family. The kitchen was finished with a glass backsplash feature, giving the room a clean, modern focal point.
The finished project has given Edward and Natalie a brighter, larger, and much more functional family home.
They now have a kitchen and living space that suits busy family life, better storage for everyday essentials, an extra attic space, and a low-maintenance garden area the kids can enjoy. It was a big transformation, but one that made a real difference to how the family can use and enjoy their home every day.
